Direct Sales Associate
Job Description:
Implements and supervises the fulfillment of telephone, internet and company sales orders, from order entry through shipping with a focus on Wine Club fulfillment.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
• Direct interaction with wine club, telephone and internet customers
• Responsible for coordinating Wine Club sales order fulfillment, including, but not limited to:
o Choosing wines for shipment
o Working with internal departments and external vendors to provide POS included in Wine Club shipments
o Insuring shipments are made in a timely, consistent manner
• Manage and maintain consumer database and product inventory
• Ensure legal inter-state shipping compliance regulations and restrictions for all direct sales orders
• Assist in the development and management of Wine Club events
• Handle consumer requests and complaints. Identify areas of opportunity.
Administrative responsibilities:
• Direct communication with consumers and various company departments, including tasting room, distribution center, winemakers and public relations
• Manage and process multiple monthly wine club shipments
• Maintain customer database including critical contact information, secure credit card data and club membership status and transaction history
• Provide management with accurate meaningful reports of Wine Club activity
• Coordinate sign-ups, sales and participate in wine club and winery special events
