Bottling Manager
Job Description:
Responsible for managing the bottling operations to produce high quality, on-time and cost-efficient product with an annual volume of 4,000,000 flat cases. Directs, schedules and supports 37 fulltime bottling personnel in meeting production goals. Schedules and supports temporary labor as needed to accomplish production requirements. Ensures a safe workplace by taking a proactive approach to safe work conditions and practices.
Basic Function:
Responsible for overall management of bottling operations which produces an annual volume of up to 4 flat million cases of wine annually with over 30-40 people depending upon production needs.
Responsibilities:
-Bottling Management
Manage day to day bottling line teams to achieve optimum production in the most cost efficient manner within all safety, quality, sanitation and budgetary considerations for a facility producing 4M cases and up to 200 SKUs.
Track and report daily, weekly bottling operation reliability reports.
Analyze bottling reliability reports and make recommendations and implement systems, processes and procedures for increased efficiencies through different productivity and cost containment methods.
Accountable for tracking and achieving established financial and production metrics. Responsible for translating manufacturing requirements from production planning group to functions for seamless execution with accuracy.
Responsible for accuracy of data that is reported, for example, budgets, downtime, employee schedules, production analysis, safety reports, etc.
Develop solid positive relationships with all different teams including winery, maintenance and engineering, finance purchasing, safety, etc.
Work closely with Production Director and Finance to prepare and manage budgets for Bottling cost centers.
