Tasting Room Manager
Job Description:
Presenting & pouring Red Soles Wines
• Relaying information of wines
• Telling the Red Soles story
• Completing sales transactions, cashier/point of sale operations
• Fulfilling shipping orders
• Stocking of wine and merchandise (able to lift 50 lb. case of wine)
• Clean of tasting room, displays, etc.
• Make sure our website is up to date (calendar + events)
3. WINE CLUB DUTIES
• Recruit wine club members
• Describe membership benefits and requirements
• Update club information
• Interface with 3rd party shipper
• Insure all members receive their shipments
• Deal with customer service issues professionally
4. EVENT DUTIES
• Promote event in tasting room
• Take reservations
• Attend event help pour, serve, set-up & clean-up
5. MANAGING OTHER PART TIME EMPLOYEES
• Be responsible for scheduling other employees so all business hours are covered
• Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, & occasional evening events
• Make sure other employees are qualified in wine sales, know Red Soles products, and have a professional attitude
