Safety Coordinator
Job Description:
Responsible for the implementation of quality / environmental control programs to ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations.
Financial Responsibility
Responsible for implementing necessary compliance programs in a fiscally responsible manner and making risk-based decisions that will ensure quality and mitigate losses and preventing regulatory penalty assessments.
Complexity of Role
Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline; still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills. Builds knowledge of the organization, processes and customers. Interacts with multiple functions
Management Responsibility
Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.
Decision Making
Solves a range of straightforward problems; analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures
Key Outputs/Deliverables
Perform regular audits to ensure compliance with Diageo and regulatory agencies requirements and identify and ensure implementation of action plans to correct deficiencies.
Develop and implement training to prevent reoccurrences
Utilize computerized systems to track data and maintain historical information
Complete or, ensure completion by others, documentation for submission to regulatory agencies or file maintenance.
